Costa Blanca
The Costa Blanca is located just 75 minutes drive south of the city of Valencia, within the Comunidad Valencia, and offers a little more sunshine and less rain than Valencia itself. The area covers some 200km of coastline, extending from Denia to Torrevieja in the south, with many sandy and pebble beaches with crystal clear water, backed by the spectacular mountains of the Sierra de Bernia.

Moraira is a first-class tourist resort with excellent facilities and services. It has 8km of coastline, and three magnificent beaches of fine sand alternating with small, picturesque, rocky coves. Jávea (in Valenciano, Xàbia) has an incredible bay, Cabo de la Nao, and is located the shortest distance between mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands. With them it shares towering cliffs and pine trees by the seaside, with small sandy and rocky beaches hidden in spectacular scenery.

Benissa is one of the oldest towns in the Costa Blanca, located 275m above sea level with views to the Peñon de Ifach and Sierra Bernia. This area has a breathtaking combination of natural elements with
agricultural land where the grapes and olives trees are common. The seaside is only 6 km away with small hidden beaches having spectacular views of el Peñon - one of the area's most famous sights, a 383m high granite rock formation rising from the Bay of Calpe.

What is a Finca?
The Costa Blanca area is littered with picturesque farmer's cottages on large areas of land, which have now become rural homes, known locally as Fincas.
