Three provinces VALENCIA , Toledo and Granada have the highest number of towns with homes for sale below 1,000 euros/m2 in Spain, according to the idealista price index.). Let's have a closer look at the cheapest places to buy in Spain in 2022.
When deciding to buy a property there are many factors to take into account. Price is one of the most important, along with location and financing in the top positions. If we only focus on price, it is clear that properties in rural and smaller urban areas have the most affordable house prices on the market.
With data from the latest idealista price report published in February, we analysed those locations looking at the prices of pre-owned properties for sale below the value of 1,000 euros/m2.
Ciudad Real concentrates the largest number of municipalities below the 500 euros/m2 sales price, with eight towns, Almadén (390 euros/m2) being the most affordable in the province of Castilla-La Mancha, ahead of Toledo, with six towns, and the province of Valencia, with five, including the cheapest town in VALENCIA to buy property, Benifairo de la Valldigna (430 euros/m2).
