Tourist rental rules in Valencia have become stricter and should always be checked before buying for short-stay income. Sources indicate that tourist rentals of 10 days or less require licensing, HOA approval rules have tightened since April 2025, and non-compliance can lead to major fines, while medium-term rentals of 11 days or more may follow a different framework.
